myStampBOX: Happy New Year!

A few of the myStampBOX Design Team are sharing New Year's project on the mSB blog today, be sure to stop by for some inspiration. Here's the card I made! I went for sparkles and bling to ring in the new year. I stamped the background with the "happy " stamp from Lots of Dots Sentiments and clear embossing powder onto black cardstock. To me, this was the "little black dress" of the card, a great base.

I used the clear acetate from a new package of myStampBOX stamps (yes, I save them!) and die cut it using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Baroque die. I mounted that with some foam adhesive onto a sparkly piece of patterned paper and highlighted the edges with silver Stickles. I stamped the sentiment from Straightforward onto another Tim Holtz die cut piece and embossed using Zing! silver glitter powder. It looked sad without its own round of Stickles on the edges, so I couldn't resist. I finished the card off with two fabulous Sparkle Burst brads from Karen Foster Design which remind me of New Year's fireworks.

I hope your year has been crafty and full of fun. Best wishes for another healthy, happy year of inspiration. Keep sharing those ideas!!

myStampBOX: Christmas Ornaments

Here are two quick ornaments featuring one inch canvases from Canvas Corp and stamps from myStampBOX. The ornament on the left was heat embossed using stamps from Winter Flakes. Red Adirondack spray ink, Stickles, and green gems completed the ornament.

The ornament on the right was left its original canvas color. I stamped the edge of the oak left from Floating Leaves using Peeled Paint Distress ink all around the edges. I think it's a great substitute for holly! The sentiment in the center is from Small Greetings. A little more Stickles and some gold trim were all it needed to complete the look.

These ornaments were fun and easy to make. Link me up in the comments section if you made stamped ornaments this year. Happy stamping!

Here is what I did with Canvas Corp and myStamp BOX's products (click on the photos for a closer look):

I created this layout of my son in his Halloween costume with entirely Canvas Corp and myStampBOX products! The layout uses all CC kraft/black and white/black papers, Chalkstalk tags, twine, mini clothespins, a kraft mini bag, and a burlap tag as a mat for my photo. I am all about texture on my projects, so Canvas Corp is a natural fit for me.

The letters on the tags and mini kraft bag are from the myStampBOX Royal Flush alphabet. It's my very favorite one!! The Chalkstalk tags were also embellished with barbed wire from Repeat After Me. The tiny tags tucked into the bag are from the Santa's Tags set. I love that you can use them on all sorts of projects, not just Christmas ones.

Now it’s time to HOP along and find out what the next talented designer has created. Your next designer is Cassie. Don’t forget to leave a comment below for a chance to WIN one of our TWO product giveaways!

myStampBOX: Memo Pad Holder

It's craft fair season, and I'm in full holiday swing! This year I found a new item that is selling like crazy. I took a 5x7 clear acrylic photo frame (shaped like an L) and created a patterned paper insert. I glued a Post-It note pad to the top and decorated the top using the myStampBOX stamp sets Rustic Outlines and Oversized (for the semicolon). I have changed up the decoration styles and colors to get a wide variety of items. This would also make a great teacher gift!

myStampBOX: We Are Family!

Join the Design Team at myStampBOX for projects about family. The blog is packed with fun ideas for using our stamps on your layouts, cards, and mini albums today. We're all one big happy family!
I went full-on grungy with this layout! I had a blast painting, misting, and stamping the plain sheet of kraft cardstock as my layout base. I used tiny stamps from the He Loves Me set for the background. The title was stamped with letters from Splash Me a Lot (larger alphabet) and Mini Alpha. The awesome canvas stars from product partner Canvas Corp were also stamped with the dots from Backgrounds.

The photo is of my husband and many of his cousins at a family reunion late this past summer. It was a wonderful time to get together for a weekend of fun. We're still talking about the great memories! Be sure to stop by the myStampBOX blog for a look at more projects about family. Enjoy the ones you love!

myStampBOX: Happy Halloween!

Join the DT at myStampBOX today for a team post all about Halloween! You'll find layouts, cards and an altered project packed with inspiration.

This year we began a new tradition for Halloween - scary face pancakes at IHOP! The boys loved being allowed to play with their food. I used the myStampBOX Royal Flush alphabet on Canvas Corp canvas (love our product partner!!). The diamond paper is also Canvas Corp.

Of course I had to throw in a little Karen Foster Design! The collage paper and Crazy Coil Brads are KFD. I added my journaling onto a spot stamped with the Just Add Notes set from myStampBOX as well.

Happy Halloween!

myStampBOX: Hope, Support & Friendship DT Projects

Today the myStampBOX Design Team is sharing lots of projects about hope, support, and friendship. You'll see a variety of projects and themes, and there's tons of inspiration! Please click over to see them all.

For this team post I made a window card. I used a fabulous card base from product partner Canvas Corp. I punched a window into the card front and framed it out with a double-punched, scalloped square. A pink bow added a pop of color to an otherwise-plain color scheme.

With the window opening, I was able to play with what went inside. I stamped the multi-heart image from Itty Bittys, colored them pink, and added some Stickles for sparkle and shine. I also added a sentiment from Mention It. This sweet card will hopefully help someone feel better!

Karen Foster Design: Season's Greetings

It's time to start thinking about holiday cards, and today I'm sharing one that's published in the latest issue of Crafts 'n Things magazine.

Click here for all the instructions and supplies from Karen Foster Design and others. I used their fun clear stamps, Scrappers Spools, and of course one of my favorite Swirl Burst Brads. They are an absolute must-have!! I stamped Santa's beard and the fuzzy parts of his hat onto felt and even fashioned tiny wire glasses for him. This Santa is detailed! The whole thing is layered onto a card I made using (another favorite) Core'dinations cardstock. I hope you enjoy my first peek at holiday scrapping.

myStampBOX: Fall Fun

We're sharing a showcase of fall projects at the myStampBOX blog this week. Here's a layout I did of me with my sweet niece, Natalie. I stamped her name with the Royal Flush alphabet and embellished with a little fall-colored bling. (Click on photos for a closer look.)

The cascade of leaves was created with several stamps from Floating Leaves. I LOVE using colored pencils to get great shading. I also cut the edges of a few leaves with my craft knife so I could tuck the photos underneath. Be sure to stop by the blog to see all the great Design Team projects. HAPPY FALL!

myStampBOX: Christmas Tags

I've seen the aisles start to fill up with Christmas goodies already, so I decided to experiment with some new paper lines and classic myStampBOX Christmas stamps to make some tags. Here's what I made! (Click on any image for a closer look.)
First up is a tag with Santa and sentiment from the Ho Ho Ho set of stamps. A little pencil coloring goes a long way with these images!
This tag is a little more elegant. The sentiment is also from the Ho Ho Ho set. I cheated a little and used the edges of an oak leaf stamp from Floating Leaves to simulate holly on the edges of the tag. Sneaky, huh?
My final tag has the adorable reindeer from Ho Ho Ho and a sentiment from Small Greetings. I think they work perfectly in small punched circles and labels. Link me up with any holiday projects you've started already this year. I'd love to see them. Happy stamping!

Karen Foster Design: Graduation Day & Makin' Waves

Stopping by today to share some new projects made with Karen Foster Design collections. First up is a sweet reminder of Matthew's K+ graduation. I had no idea that the kids would be wearing cute hats, so it was a nice surprise. He was so proud - he was beaming! This page is made almost completely of Karen Foster graduation products with a border punch, pop dots, and some ink thrown in for good measure.

Moving onto summer - here's my big fish playing in our neighborhood pool. I kept this page simple, highlighting just a few products from KFD's Water Fun collection. I layered up two handcut suns on this one. KFD makes some of the best papers for fussy cutting! Hope the summer is treating you well. Capture those memories in as many photos as you can. Happy scrapping!

Bo Bunny Sketch + myStampBOX = Love!

That's some kinda wild love! Bo Bunny is holding a card sketch contest, so I decided to play along using pieces and parts from their Zoology, Timepiece, and Block Party collections as well as some Double Dot cardstock. I am totally wild about their animal prints!

I also had fun mixing in some stamps from myStampBOX for this card. The center ribbon is stamped with Graphic Borders, and the center sentiment is from Seal It! There's nothing like custom stamping to make a project totally yours.

Good luck to everyone who enters the card contest!

myStampBOX: Card Share

I'm finishing up my barrage of posts with some cards made for myStampBOX. These were made with two sets that I got while working at our CHA booth, so I was especially excited to ink them up!

Up first is this wild creation. I started with some Bo Bunny Zoology paper and stamped a giraffe and zebra border using the Graphic Borders stamps. The sentiment is stamped with a combination of Mini Alphas and Rustic Outlines. I finished things off with a little Karen Foster Design Scrappers Spools and a Zoology elephant charm.

Our AC went out this week, lucky us! I decided to think cool thoughts and paired up some new summer CHA release Karen Foster Design paper with the Let It Snow stamps from myStampBOX. The paper had the white snowflakes, so I added some in blue. The sentiment is also from this set. To further embellish the snowflakes I added pearl and rhinestone centers. Three snowflakes are adorned with tiny felted balls recreated from balls I purchased from Handbehg, a company I discovered at CHA. Be on the lookout for more projects using these little fuzzies! Click each photo for a closer look at all the texture.

Here's a closer look at the stamping and the goodies. Cute polar bear, huh? Thanks for stopping by!
