Karen Foster Design: Graduation Day & Makin' Waves

Stopping by today to share some new projects made with Karen Foster Design collections. First up is a sweet reminder of Matthew's K+ graduation. I had no idea that the kids would be wearing cute hats, so it was a nice surprise. He was so proud - he was beaming! This page is made almost completely of Karen Foster graduation products with a border punch, pop dots, and some ink thrown in for good measure.

Moving onto summer - here's my big fish playing in our neighborhood pool. I kept this page simple, highlighting just a few products from KFD's Water Fun collection. I layered up two handcut suns on this one. KFD makes some of the best papers for fussy cutting! Hope the summer is treating you well. Capture those memories in as many photos as you can. Happy scrapping!

myStampBOX: 30 Lashes

As we braced for the impact of yet ANOTHER snow day today, I thought I'd share some photos from a much warmer time. Here's a layout whose title was born right at the pool. I snuck in some Mini Alpha stamps from myStampBOX that fit perfectly in my mixed-font title. Hope you're hanging in there this winter!

Scrappin' Sports Stuff: Slippery When Wet

It's just about time for our neighborhood pool to open, and the kids can hardly stand it! We're definitely ready for some refreshment since it suddenly broke 90 degrees this week. That's Indy weather for you - rainy and 50's one week, 90 the next! Here's a layout I made with photos from our only pool day at Disney last fall. All the supplies and details are on the Scrappin' Sports Stuff blog today. Stay cool!

During our trip home to visit family in PA last summer we took the coal mine tour in Ashland, the town where my father grew up. Scrappin' Sports Stuff: On Track

Well, here it is! This is quite possibly my favorite layout of all the zillion that I have made. I'm sharing it today, complete with instructions and the supply list, on the Scrappin' Sports Stuff blog.

The cool fabric tag originally said "Rock On" but I changed it to say "On Track." Tricky, huh?

It's my day on the Scrappin' Sports Stuff blog, and I'm sharing a layout about Ian's belt test from November '09. I had fun tinkering with some lasercut titles to create a custom one using two colors to match his newly-earned belt. Hop over to the SSS blog to check out all the details!

Scrappin' Sports Stuff: Victory Field

Here's my first project for the Scrappin' Sports Stuff design team. I scrapped some photos from our family trip to see the Indians play late this summer. I had fun mixing up the baseball supplies on this one. A complete list of products and the instructions for making this layout are here.

I handcut some bats from one paper and added a knotted ribbon.

I also used a lasercut baseball, bat brads and more ribbon on this cluster. Be sure to check out the Scrappin' Sports Stuff online store for great themed products. Check back later this month for another SSS DT project from me.

Scrappin' Sports Stuff News

It's official! I was recently named to the first Design Team for Scrappin' Sports Stuff's online store. What's even cooler is that my best pal, Carolyn, also made the team! I'm excited to use some of their unique products, especially for Ian's Taekwondo layouts. Congrats to the new team - I can't wait to start working with you!
