myStampBOX CHA: Floating On a Cloud
Today's feature at the myStampBOX blog is the new cloud chipboard album. Here's what I made:
(Click on any photo for a closer look.)
I covered the pages using baby papers from our product partner Canvas Corp. I layered up die cut clouds in mulberry paper and pearlized papers to enhance the softness of the cloud. The title was stamped using my favorite myStampBOX alphabet, Royal Flush.
This album was designed to work well with our stamp set called Wishing You Sunshine, and it sure does! I stamped directly onto the raw chipboard and embossed using white powder. The journaling spot from Your Story was layered up with more clouds stamped on paper and light blue vellum. Some of the clouds were lifted using foam adhesive for more dimension.
Even a simple page with a photo mat can be embellished with a small medallion from our Seal It! stamp set. Be sure to leave a comment at the mSB blog to win a free cloud album OR today's Family Tree stamp set.
For today only, leave a comment here on my blog
for another chance to win a free cloud album.
Good luck!

myStampBOX CHA: Let's Hit the Road!
Today at the myStampBOX blog we're featuring the new suitcase chipboard album. I had such a fun time decorating my album with photos from a local Children's Museum. My boys were able to travel through time and around the world in just one afternoon thanks to the hard work of the people who run this special place. The mini album is going to be a gift for my parents since we were visiting them when we went to the museum.
(Click on photos for a closer look!)
I covered the entire album using old Cosmo Cricket papers that I have been hoarding forever. I thought that they were the perfect look for this project, so I gladly used them. For the handles, I used an old-school answer to today's washi tape trend, gaffer's tape! This stretchy, self-adhesive tape wrapped around the handles and added a little old-fashioned pattern to the design.
I stamped some corner designs using Road Trip images and the title using Summer Alphas.
Of course I stamped around many of the photos, adding captions or embellishments here and there. The stamp sets displayed are Just Add Notes, Bold Blocks, Backgrounds, Passport to Adventure, and Seal It!
Want to win a free suitcase chipboard album for yourself, or win today's new release myStampBOX stamp set called Ornamental Flowers?

myStampBOX: Pretty Pastels
I was blog hopping the other day and found a beautiful card by designer Kelly Rasmussen. I decided to use it as inspiration for my mother's birthday card. I loved the blocky, quilt-like design and pastel colors. For my version, I added a punch of red and used stamps from, who else, myStampBOX! Here's what I made:
Supplies: myStampBOX stamps, Ranger Sepia Tone Archival Ink, Ranger Stickles, Darice bling, Sakura gel pen, Doodlebug Design twine, My Mind's Eye On the Sunny Side papers.
The sentiment comes from a must-have set for cardmakers, Straightforward. Underneath the title is some bubble wrap texture from Backgrounds. The tiny blue box has some added texture from Back to the Basics. The pretty butterfly is from Colorful Companions.
The month and dates stamp from Timelines is the perfect nod in the direction of a birthday celebration, and I used a clear gel glitter pen to highlight the month and day of my mom's birthday. This is certainly a personalized card that you couldn't buy in any store!
