Trees a Crowd

It's challenge day at Caardvarks! Create a *NEW* tree-themed card and link us to it using Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post by Midnight on April 30th, PST. Be sure to link us *directly* to your blog post or gallery card. The prize for this challenge is a brand new set of their stamps called (appropriately) Branching Out by Taylored Expressions. Need some inspiration? Check out the amazing tree-themed Caards & More projects by Mel and Nathalia and all the tree cards by the Varks Crew. Good luck - we can't wait to see your entries!

Here's my card for this challenge. The tree was cut with the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge from Core'dinations cardstock. I scored the tree trunk with the back end of a small paint brush and sanded to bring out the faux wood grain. The leaves, bushes and grass were cut from two colors of felt for a little softness. Details for this card are here.

Also check out the details for our upcoming Reader Weekend when we are shining the spotlight on YOU!
