Scrappin' Sports Stuff: Slippery When Wet

It's just about time for our neighborhood pool to open, and the kids can hardly stand it! We're definitely ready for some refreshment since it suddenly broke 90 degrees this week. That's Indy weather for you - rainy and 50's one week, 90 the next! Here's a layout I made with photos from our only pool day at Disney last fall. Quick & Easy Cards

May is jam-packed with special events, so I have been making cards like crazy! Here are a few that have come to life in the scrap cave this past week. The top card was for my pal Bethany's baby shower. I used the new Royal Flush alphabet from myStampBOX. I think it took longer for the two colors of Stickles to dry than it did to make the rest of the card! I love the vintage feel.

These little beauties win for quickest cards ever! I love how the whimsical font of the Color Me - Sentiments set allow you to coordinate your message with the rest of your products. I hope you get to spend some time with your scrap goodies to create cards and gifts for the people who are special in your life. Happy stamping!

Farmer's Market Tote

It's that time of year again! Last summer my pal Cheryl introduced me to the art and thrill of the local farmer's market, and most of them are open again for the season. She has an awesome shop on Etsy called Purple Bow Crafts which features hand-knit items like this beautiful farmer's market tote. I can't wait to get out there to sort through fresh fruits and veggies then stock up on meats and other local ingredients. Handmade crafts + homegrown foods = happy me!
